Not a “Pony Express” Society
#VALUE YOUR PERSONAL PRESIDENTIAL CHOICE = PETITION TO ABOLISH THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE
“The Electoral College has outlasted its usefulness. It is part of the constitution, written when communication was by pony express. Voters currently living and voting in a “red” or “blue” state are disenfranchised, because their vote doesn’t matter… The electoral members are selected by the two main political parties, Republican and Democrat… ”
So what about all the choices of all other voters: independent, Libertarian, and others? These voters choices are NOT recognized!

[Excerpt from the Kristen Lamb Blog] ~ The Power of Names ~
Naming characters can be vital. Great writers use the power of parsimony. Each element should serve as many purposes as possible. A name is more than a name. It has the power to be a story within a story.
I recall the moment I was first introduced to what would become my favorite hymn, Come Thou Fount of Many Blessings. One verse stood out:
Here I raise my Ebenezer
Here by Thy great help I’ve come
And I hope, by Thy good pleasure
Safely to arrive at home.
Ebenezer? Raise an Ebenezer? I needed to know more. Ebenezer is actually אבן העזר, Even Ha’Ezer, which literally means stone of help or monument to God’s glory and is referenced in the book of Samuel.
Thus, when Dickens chose a name for his protagonist, he chose the perfect name for the redeemed sinner. What is a better testament to a God of grace, than the hardened heart melted by the power of love?

#VIDEO ~ LABRADOR RESCUES DOGS ADRIFT
Friend ~ I hear your heart of passion almost every day. As you speak bold words of God’s mind you express the passion you follow in Christianity. Most visible is your love for family values and background heritage. You express pride and love in your children. How we love defines the burning question: Passion.
Your passion runs deep as you celebrate and visit Indian Nation events in other states with pride. You absorb books in many subjects by the dozens and are an example for family and others that books educate. You show how education is important for one’s mind and share what you learn in conversation. You can never be bored or boring.
Wildlife is another passion of yours in the protection and privacy you give to your bird residents. Because you shelter and nurture God’s creatures, you and your family receive pleasure, education, and blessings.
And your greatest recent accomplishment – juicing – is absolutely a passionate response to eating well, loss of weight, and lifestyle changes. Even your car experienced a passionate response from you over it’s total loss. These emotions are those that I can relate to and to which I can respond in kind.
Passion can not be simply defined. It may be more an expression of how we love rather than what we love.

Inspiration comes from reading the works of successful novelists, romance writers, literary gurus, and often quoted writing workshop instructors.
I have been following advice from Linda Style, the author of 14-Plus novels for Harlequin Enterprises and the co-founder of Bootcamp for Novelists Online. Linda teaches novel writing and shares gems of wisdom on her Blog where she invites readers to comment.
It has been my experience to be entertained by Linda Style’s Harlequin SuperRomance novels ~ The Mistake She Made ~ The Promise He Made ~ and most current ~ A Soldier’s Secret. She adds suspense and thrills of adventure to moments of sweet romance in touching encounters in her books.
More than romantic moments, Linda’s stories instruct me about drama, conflict, suspense, character, plot, and voice. I continue to read and learn from her as a form of tutoring for me.
